How do I allow push notifictions?

Tailor your communications by sending attendees relevant push notifications.

Change the way you communicate with your attendees by leveraging your new marketing channel to send push notifications on the fly or schedule them in advance to reach attendees before, during and after events.  You can also send them reminders when keynote addresses are about to begin or keep them informed of last minute changes, like changes in session location.

The pop-up notifications are similar to a text message and don’t get lost in email. They help organisers keep attendees tuned in to important announcements or other key news between events. Organises can keep your staff up-to-date with important details and urgent information without alerting attendees. and create a truly exclusive experience by sending VIP-only push notifications with coupons or reception invitations.

In order to receive oush messages, the attendees must allow the notifications:

  1. Access the Notifications menu. From the home screen, tap Settings, then Notifications.
  2. Turn on Notifications for the app. Find your event’s app on the list and tap its name. Switch Allow Notifications on.

Note: Not all Android phones are the same. The directions below walk you through the most common OS, Android 9.0.
