      Editing Questions

      There are different ways to make changes to the content of Lumi ViewPoint questions, either through the user-friendly interface (i.e. the Question Editor)… or even by simply making changes directly in PowerPoint!

      There are different ways to make changes to the content of Lumi ViewPoint questions, either through the user-friendly interface (i.e. the Question Editor)… or even by simply making changes directly in PowerPoint!

      1. Go to slide 6 (the question about devices)
      2. In the Lumi ViewPoint tab, press the Edit button
      3. Click after the word Television in the Choices box and press Enter
      4. Add a new choice (i.e. in between Television and Camera) called Sat Nav
      5. Add a ninth choice called Printer 
      6. Press OK
      7. A warning message explains that if you are using IML Click voting devices – you have too many choices. 
      8. Press OK
      9. Go back into the Question Editor menu for this question and change the Display Type to Table
      10. Click inside the text box on the slide which says Vote for up to 3 choices
      11. Edit the instructional text to read as follows; In no particular order, select up to 3 choices
      12. In the Lumi ViewPoint tab, press the Display Options button
      13. In the Display Options sidebar which appears on the right-hand side, change the Data label type from Percentages to Actual Votes
      14. Go to slide 4 (the department question)
      15. On the slide (i.e. do not press the Edit button in the Lumi ViewPoint tab), highlight the choice text Human Resources
      16. Change this to HR
      17. Use this same method (i.e. making the change in PowerPoint, as opposed to from the Question Editor) and change the fourth choice to Admin & Finance
      18. Save your presentation
