Numeric Range Question

The Numeric Range question type provides participants the ability to respond by entering a number within a range set by you.

Numeric Range questions are not only useful when asking for a value from your participants, but are commonly used in feedback or evaluation questions (i.e. where the audience can rate, or score, something).

  1. Add a new question as slide 6
  2. Choose Numeric Range as the Question Type
  3. Enter the question heading as follows; On a scale of 1 to 5, how much do you know about Lumi ViewPoint?
  4. Leave the Range set between 1 and 5
  5. In the Range Description boxes, enter 1 as Nothing and 5 as Everything
  6. Leave the Display Type as Column Chart
  7. Press OK
  8. Add another Numeric Range question at the end of your presentation; Approximately what percentage of your time at work do you spend on the telephone?
  9. Set the Range from 0 to 100
  10. Leave the Range Description blank and the Display Type as Column Chart
  11. Press OK
  12. Move this question slide to appear after the devices question (i.e. in between slides 4 and 5)
  13. Add another Numeric Range question after the region question with the heading How old are you?
  14. Set the range between 18 and 65
  15. Leave the Range Description blank and choose Calculated Values as the Display Type
  16. Press OK
  17. Save your presentation

Note: 

The voting scale can be set anywhere from 0 to 999,999,999.
