A popular type of question asked at meetings and events is a ranking, or prioritisation, question. Increasing the number of responses a participant is allowed to select and applying a weighting to those choices (i.e. depending on the order in which they were submitted) enables a much deeper insight into the data.
- Add a new Multiple Choice question at the end of the presentation, using the following content;
Please rank the following colours in terms of your favourite
Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Indigo
Violet - Allow participants to select up to 7 choices
- Use the drop-down menu to set these to ranked in priority order
- Press OK
- Add another ranking question at the end of the presentation, allowing the audience to select 3 choices using the following question content;
Please rank your top 3 aspects of this conference

Q&A Sessions - Change the Display Type to Breakdown Bars and press OK
- Go to slide 8 and note how the Vote Prompt is covering some of the question text
- Select the Title placeholder and decrease the font size to 40
- Go to slide 9 and instead of decreasing the font size, click on the right-hand side of the Title placeholder and make the box narrower (i.e. decrease the width), ensuring that no text from the question heading is covered by the voting prompt
- Go through the rest of your presentation ensuring that question text is not covered by the Vote Prompt
- Go into Slide Sorter view
- Check that your presentation slides match the screen shot below;
- Save your presentation
