Lumi ViewPoint installs files in specific locations on your laptop.
The main folder locations the Lumi ViewPoint installer creates are:
On a workgroup laptop the permission on these files are usually Full Control. On a domain laptop the permission on these files are usually Read, Write and Execute.
C:\Program Files (x86)\IML
Here you will find the executable files for IML Click Hub (Click Hub folder > ImlHubHost-ClickVersion.exe) and Lumi Services (IML Services folder > Iml.Services.ServicesHost.exe). If you believe permissions to be the cause of any issue. Stop the IML Click Hub service and Lumi Services in Local services and run them from there respective folders in C:\Program Files (x86)\IML but right click and run as administrator.
Two small command prompt boxes will appear, return to Lumi ViewPoint and see if the error has been recitifed. If there have been issues during the installation or Lumi ViewPoint isn't working correctly after installation grab the log files from the ViewPoint folder InstallLog.txt and InstallLog2.txt
C:\ProgramData\IML\Databases
Here you will find the Meetings or Databases that Lumi ViewPoint creates. It is a hidden file so to access it go to folder options and select 'Show hidden files, folders or drives'. These are can also be seen in SQL Server Management Studio.
C:\Users\Public\Documents\IML
Here you will find the Licence and Log folders for Lumi ViewPoint. When validated Lumi ViewPoint will store the .xml licence file for a receiver in C:\Users\Public\Documents\IML\Licences.
If there have been issues during the installation or Lumi ViewPoint isn't working correctly after installation grab the log files from the Logs folder ClickHub.log, Services.log and ViewPoint.log.
Important:
You must have a fully licenced Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office in order to use Lumi ViewPoint.
Other pre-requisites are also required along with Admin Rights.
